Build your iPhone app by chatting with it
Say what you want. Kestrel Build makes it a real iPhone app on your own Mac. When something's wrong, tap that screen, say what to change, and a new build lands on your phone.
How it works
- Chat from your iPhone. The Kestrel Build app holds your apps and a chat for each one. Describe a new app, or a change to one you have.
- Your Mac builds it. A small helper on your Mac does the work with your own AI key (Claude or OpenAI), in your own project.
- Point at what's wrong. Inside your app, take a screenshot or a short recording, mark it up and send a note. Testers you invite can too.
- You approve every change. Each fix arrives as a new test build on your phone. Keep it or undo it. Nothing changes without you.
It's your app
Your app is built on your Mac and lives in your own Apple developer account, under your name. It isn't a preview running inside ours. Your AI key, your code and your Apple account stay on your Mac; we never hold them.
What you need
- A Mac. The builder runs on it while you work.
- An iPhone.
- An AI key from Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI. You pay them directly for what you use, and Kestrel Build shows the cost before each change runs.
- An Apple developer account ($99 a year, paid to Apple) when you're ready to share your app. We walk you through it.
No coding and no GitHub needed. If you are a developer, you get every change as a branch you can read and merge.
Price
$29 a month in the beta
If a change fails to build twice, Kestrel Build stops and asks you. It doesn't keep spending your AI key on retries.
